Kassem Amoudi,The Wall
Kassem Amoudi’s art was recently exhibited on Arch Street in Philadelphia as part of Rosenfeld Gallery’s Annual New Talent Show. A Palestinian-Jordanian artist who has lived in the United States since 1983, Amoudi’s work is well known in several Middle Eastern countries and is in the collection of several government institutions in Jordan, Iraq and Libya. His art has also been exhibited in Egypt and Canada. Kassem received his MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia, his BSC in Fine Arts from Helwan University in Cairo, Egypt, and he was a special studies student in the Graduate School of Art at North Texas University in Denton Texas where he placed third in the North Texas competition. Kassem’s teaching experiences include Jordan, Qatar, Georgia and Pennsylvania, and his exhibits include the Roger LaPelle Gallery, the Berman Museum of Art, the James Baids Gallery,and Rowan College.
